These are apparently fairly common, slender, medium sized damselflies (aboput 40mm long) appearing along the east coast of Australia. In Victoria it can be found in flight during summer and most of autumn, though further north they can emerge earlier.

Most of the body is black or pale green with the eyes usually being more green. I have seen them amongst thick tea-tree beside slow-flowing sections of river.
