This is a butterfly that I tend to only find at higher altitudes,
although when I did a quick internet search it appears to be more common at lower altitudes further north.
All these photos were taken in about the same place in two successive summers,
at the bottom of the toboggan runs near the summit.
They are probably helped by the flowering bushes in the area.
Although I have seen a fleeting glimpse of them elsewhere, Mt Donna Buang has a significant population.
