These impressive butterflies have such an unappealing name (though they are also called Small Citrus Butterfly).
I've only ever seen this one once in the wild, and that was in suburban Melbourne, which surprised me.
Perhaps they have a variety of flowers to choose from in people's gardens and not too many predators,
as domestic animals will often drive away something that would feed on a butterfly (or caterpillar).
