Place: Olinda Forest, Silvan
These are busy insect hunters, often found in small family groups.
They can be found over most of Australia, usually around forested areas, hunting in scrub and low trees.
I love their merry whistles and chattering as they communicate with one another.
There are four Fantail species in Australia,
with the Grey fantail (having five races) being most common widespread.
The other three being the Northern, Mangrove Grey and Rufous.
