Moderately common. Species of this genus are found throughout Australia from the tropics to Tasmania (and they are also found throughout the world)
Habitat &
Found mostly on logs.
DescriptionLike most slime-mould, these emerge in small colonies where they grow into individual fruiting bodies that open to release long spore filaments. When hanging from the underside of logs these tufts look particularly attractive.
