Jurrie Hubregtse of the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria has provided an extensive and useful guide to the Fungi in Australia. It contains photos of many species, including some that don't appear in commonly used fungi books.

Fungi Ratings

I have rated some fungi in the three categories below. Although such a value is subjective, this is my web site and I can do what I want. :)

• Overall This simply adds up the scores from the three variables below.
• Color If its a bright, vibrant color uncommon in fungi it will rate highly.
• Shape A standard gilled mushroom will score lowly here.
• Abundance Self explanatory — the rarer it is the higher the score.
