First stop was Lake Elizabeth where I was hoping for dragonflies but they were severely lacking (I saw none). The Grey Fantails were back again by the bridge as they were a year ago.

Stevensons Falls did have numerous dragonflies, but only three relatively common species. The highlight however turned out to be a White-lipped Snake that I saw coming down the river on the opposite bank of the Gellibrand River. It swam half way across and rested on a rock, allowing me to take some photos of it before it continued its journey.
