Mt Buangor and Mt Cole

7 March 2012

In the morning I scaled to the summit of Mt Buangor (near Ararat) for the nice snowgum scenery and was lucky to see a family of 4 Wedge-Tailed Eagles Aquila audax taking off in the strong wind. One of them stayed around a bit longer to check me out and I was able to take several short videos including: http://youtu.be/QmucvHt50h8.

For the afternoon I checked out the adjoining Mt Cole, mainly looking for dragonflies.
