Mungo National Park
6 June 2010
This national park is located in the arid south-west of New South Wales.
Interesting to see were all the Paddy Melons (Cucumis sp).
These fruits were ripening all over the ground and the large ones looked quite tasty.
They were introduced as feed for camels but are toxic to us humans.
I've also included several photos of the Walls of China,
which are basically variably eroded sand dunes at the edge of the usually dry lake.
