East Gippsland Day 1
21 January 2010
Looked at some satellite images of some places I wanted to visit.
Unfortunately for me, visiting one of these sites
involved some fairly serious trekking through the bush and my legs were about cut to ribbons.
It was all worth it in the end as I came across a wonderful,
secluded and pristine lake deep in the middle of a forest.
I really went in search of interesting dragonflies but found a couple of frogs instead.
Finding frogs in the middle of the day is rare for me and I was quite happy with that.
The first one I saw is a Lesueur's Tree Frog Litoria lesueuri
and the other is a Green And Golden Bell Frog Litoria aurea.
