Gippsland Day 5 - New Damselfly for Victoria

14 January 2009

A hot day so no orchid searching was scheduled so I took the time to look for some odonata. I saw a blue damsel which looked a bit different to some of the other ones, seems almost certain to be Pseudagrion microcephalum, a species not recorded in Victoria previously (it is common around Brisbane but records peter out around Wollongong).
