A visit to Beaconsfield rewarded me with a docile Unicorn Darner, Austroaeschna unicornis.
I was able to get lots of photos from various angles.
Because of the way this dragonfly holds on to vegetation, it was not possible to get pictures of it from the front.
Afterwards in Berwick, the far lake in Wilson Botanic Park was swarming with dragonflies.
I saw a new one for me, possibly Tramea loewii, but it was very busy and didn't allow me to photograph it.
