The last full day in the Grampians was not spent with ANOS.
It involved travelling to the far south and climbing leasurly up The Piccaninny,
and then various stop on the way back to Halls Gap.
The first shot shows a Jack Jumper and with a honey bee, possibly which it is taking back to the nest.
These ants have a fairly potent sting and aggressive nature.
An interesting sight was the stumpy-tailed lizard eating a caterpillar, as I thought they were vegetarian.
Also saw some odonata around Lake Bellfield, which is fairly low.
