Grampians and Little Desert

In early October 2005 I visited western Victoria.

This day was spent travelling from Stawell to the Little Desert National Park via Lonsdale Flora Reserve and Horsham (we had a picnic lunch in their botanic garden). We did a little loop in the Stringy Bark Walk and saw many orchids, particularly the small Hooded Caladenia. The Pink Fingers orchid is also very pink here, I'm used to the very pale and white varieties in the Dandenongs.
